The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Zenon Jaszcz put in a rough tackle. In the 8th minute, one of Poland:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Poland. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, TheLastDance's Qian Bin Zhen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edwin van der Sar. 17 minutes into the match, Poland's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartosz Furgat. After having played for 22 minutes, Herbert Wincek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Wincek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Poland's Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Qian Bin Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zachariasz Kociniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nike Cavia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qian Bin Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edson-Arantes Maradona got free with Edwin van der Sar in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46thth minute of the game Bartosz Furgat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poland's Edwin van der Sar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Damazy Polek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Zachariasz Kociniewski made a huge save. TheLastDance's Miroslaw Brodzki was substituted for Jedrzej Prusek. The corner ended in Pawel Dawidowicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TheLastDance's Zachariasz Kociniewski did a great save. Bartosz Furgat hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Zachariasz Kociniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TheLastDance fans cheered their team off the field, for while Poland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
