The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, TheLastDance's Bartosz Furgat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Emil Majtyka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Majtyka in the 6th minute of play forced TheLastDance's goalkeeper Zachariasz Kociniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emil Majtyka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariasz Kociniewski was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Emil Majtyka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emil Majtyka ran back to his position shaking his head. 2-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Korneliusz Ochabski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edson-Arantes Maradona to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the U21 Poland defense, Edson-Arantes Maradona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wit Bronkala. The U21 Poland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wit Bronkala should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's Adam Walkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zachariasz Kociniewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wit Bronkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson-Arantes Maradona in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Poland's goalkeeper Wit Bronkala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Walkowski in the 74th minute of play forced TheLastDance's goalkeeper Zachariasz Kociniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes, Adam Walkowski made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. TheLastDance's Zachariasz Kociniewski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Poland's Zbyszko Mazierz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto-Carlos Junior charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto-Carlos Junior the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TheLastDance's Roberto-Carlos Junior got a free kick in the 86th minute. The supporters of TheLastDance booed when U21 Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Modrić didn't get a good kick on the ball.
