The corner led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Arnaldo Gabon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Kukombo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龚广镇 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Transito made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gustav Ramfjord however managed to control. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustav Ramfjord in the 31st minute. If Elpidio Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Baur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Măcriș in the 38th minute of play forced Kukombo FC's goalkeeper David Baur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Estevez hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 50 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Măcriș. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Ibañez in the 52nd minute of play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustav Ramfjord was slow to take the kick. During this time Kukombo FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 60th minute, Petrică Măcriș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús was substituted for Elpidio Francis. David Baur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Monclús was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Baur came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús. But to his dismay, André Monclús quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Petrică Măcriș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Baur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 龚广镇, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. André Monclús in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Baur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Kukombo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
