Oliver Can showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Quirino in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute C.A Gryffindor were awarded a corner. Karl-Erik Magnusson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Erik Magnusson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oliver Can quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Jacinto Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Gryffindor's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Can breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Can having to interfere. Karl-Erik Magnusson made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Pucho's Archie Litchfield. C.A Gryffindor's attentive Ramiro Passos managed to snatch the ball when Paulo Milio made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Oliver Can showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Quirino in the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Deportivo Pucho's Claudio-Paul Caniggia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Tolino in the 42nd minute of play. Deportivo Pucho made a substitution. Ahmet Nasir Nesefi replaced Claudio-Paul Caniggia. After 48 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Erik Magnusson.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Nasir Nesefi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Deportivo Pucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Milio to maneuver through the defense. Chicão de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nasir Nesefi came free, but Chicão de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edgard Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Tolino in the 68th minute of play. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Patxi in the 69th minute of play. Deportivo Pucho made a substitution. Miguel Madruga replaced Julio Tolino. In the 72nd minute of the match Deportivo Pucho got a corner. C.A Gryffindor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Archie Litchfield ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 75th minute Deportivo Pucho were awarded a corner. Archie Litchfield went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Delmar Jerico managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tomé de Alcântara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of C.A Gryffindor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Pucho:s goal. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Stor in the 87th minute of play. The Deportivo Pucho fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Deportivo Pucho's Inocencio Patxi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 101st minute, Guilherme Mazer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oliver Can, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Pucho had won after a very even match.
