If André Maraschin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, André Maraschin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geronimo Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Bachor in the 7th minute of play. Geronimo Argi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Bachor went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Geronimo Argi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Bachor's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, André Maraschin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Bachor took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Argi. Geronimo Argi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 26th minute Artur Bachor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinamita on Grass's Vito Castelao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Maraschin in the 34th minute of play. Geronimo Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Delmiro Vachon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Argi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 44 minutes into the game, Dinamita on Grass's Artur Bachor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geronimo Argi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Maraschin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Maraschin to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Anatolio Lozano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Silverio Doblas in the 88th minute really tested Geronimo Argi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to LVCVS AVGVSTI getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Anatolio Lozano hit a great ball.
