The MAZER SAF fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when MAZER SAF's Laurgain Ruiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, MAZER SAF's Manoel Neuer threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evaristo Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 11th minute, David Puyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manoel Neuer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Laurgain Ruiz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Manoel Neuer made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Laurgain Ruiz sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Manoel Neuer managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when MAZER SAF's Laurgain Ruiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22nd match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Zagrodny to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes Jovens Democratas MZC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Sein who took care of the corner kick. Evaristo Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Manoel Neuer made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Evaristo Castro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manoel Neuer. The goal made the score 3-0. The nice shot from Laurgain Ruiz in the 28thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Manoel Neuer had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Laurgain Ruiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manoel Neuer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurgain Ruiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Jozef Ilve hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ismael Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Zagrodny in the 36th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Xu Li Sang made the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Laerte Bittencourt put in a rough tackle. In the 53rd minute, one of Jovens Democratas MZC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jovens Democratas MZC. Laurgain Ruiz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jozef Ilve during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Jozef Ilve. In the 60th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Puyol to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes of play, MAZER SAF's Evaristo Castro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manoel Neuer was left in no man's land by his defense there! MAZER SAF's Murillo Lima was substituted for Kang Wei Lin. In the 66th minute, Rafa Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's Marco van Basten was substituted for Durval de Queirós. Jovens Democratas MZC's Charles Eger was substituted for Jozef Ilve. After 78 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Dobromir Zagrodny. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Marcel Veiga replaced Carlinhos Tróia. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobromir Zagrodny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manoel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Alves in the 80th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Rafa Alves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Manoel Neuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Ismael Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco van Basten. The audience was convinced that Marco van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Negri was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Alves came free, but Manoel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Rafa Alves made a precise shot to the right of Manoel Neuer. Jovens Democratas MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jovens Democratas MZC's Manoel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Junior in the 94th minute of play. Ismael Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco van Basten in the 96th minute of the match.

When the referee blew the final whistle, MAZER SAF could leave the field as winners, despite Jovens Democratas MZC having more of the ball for most of the match.
