FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danas Nausėda in the 13th minute of play. Rimvydas Andrašiūnas struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Pavel Romanescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Karamba. FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Alves in the 20th minute of play. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC Pegasas Siauliai from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jérémie Watremez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavel Romanescu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Pierre Lyngdal's late challenge caught a FC Karamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre Lyngdal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Karamba booed when FC Pegasas Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Liaudanskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rimvydas Andrašiūnas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jérémie Watremez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Pegasas Siauliai had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
