Kim Lekberg scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Max Limont, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Kim Lekberg made a precise shot to the right of Max Limont. Hexo Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 16th minute Paulius Rožėnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Brandão scored 1-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Arne Askstedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Brandão got free with Bengt-Arne Askstedt in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Vilmantas Kalinauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Arne Askstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Kim Lekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Max Limont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Mar Cheze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Mar Cheze tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 35th play minutes Kim Lekberg shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Max Limont and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Kim Lekberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hexo Utd's Max Limont was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Savage Hippo got a corner. Hexo Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eddie Bjurström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Eddie Bjurström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hexo Utd's Max Limont did a great save. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Norbert Kostka got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Hexo Utd got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Brandão. Paulius Rožėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

55 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Brandão came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilmantas Magdišauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Max Limont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hexo Utd made a substitution. Miglius Simonaitis replaced Adolfo Brandão. 62 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Max Limont had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kim Lekberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Lekberg got free with Max Limont in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Savage Hippo's Kim Lekberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Max Limont. Max Limont yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mar Cheze in the 75th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mar Cheze in the 77th minute of the match. Paulius Rožėnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bengt-Arne Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miglius Simonaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, Hexo Utd's Mar Cheze made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Arne Askstedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Kostka.

The Savage Hippo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Savage Hippo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
