The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the game, Christian Burgo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Matei Răducu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, Harm de Freitas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro. Sylwester Wawro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Curt Montes. In the 30th minute, Christian Burgo made a precise shot to the right of Matei Răducu. In the 58th minute, Kwyjibo's Kosin Marianto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matei Răducu. Matei Răducu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barrie Deacon during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, one of MarquinhosEC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MarquinhosEC. Matei Răducu went to the wrong direction when Etxepare Angostina was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Marco Tardelli replaced Harm de Freitas. MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas was substituted for Alessandro do Valle. Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Di Blasio in the 70th minute of play. Barrie Deacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Wawro having to interfere. The MarquinhosEC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Kwyjibo to win.
