Pepe Ferreira made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Matteo Borda immediately put the ball in play. Leszek Cupial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lastra Pinga having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Ixidor came free, but Lastra Pinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Fabian Duca got a free kick in the 7th minute. Matteo Borda hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 10 minutes Sliema Dragons FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacinto Barea who took care of the corner kick. Fidel Frances blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barrie Kerridge having to make a save. Barrie Kerridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Frances, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Edmund Glogowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Sliema Dragons FC's Kim Bolas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lastra Pinga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Pepe Ferreira in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s He Ting Zhou. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Gábor Illés got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Kim Bolas might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lastra Pinga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Bolas ran back to his position shaking his head. Lastra Pinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Bolas in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ defense, Kim Bolas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lastra Pinga. The Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lastra Pinga should have stopped the shot. If Ulises Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Lastra Pinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 46th minute of play. Sliema Dragons FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baran Erozan in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that Baran Erozan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lastra Pinga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Frances was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Josué Brito in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sliema Dragons FC's Matteo Borda. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Kim Bolas put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lastra Pinga. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goalkeeper Lastra Pinga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Glogowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Leszek Cupial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lastra Pinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bona Corona replaced Jacinto Barea. Sliema Dragons FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Fidel Frances scored to the left of an out of position Barrie Kerridge, making the score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mangion in the 82nd minute of play forced Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goalkeeper Lastra Pinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baran Erozan who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Martin Mangion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lastra Pinga was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mangion in the 93rd minute of play forced Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s goalkeeper Lastra Pinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
