Blue Mountain State's Elvio Burualla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carlo Bussi, made in the 12th minute of the game. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Nicolas Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 18th minute of play. Nicolas De la Cruz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Nicolas De la Cruz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Britto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Nicolas De la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Nunes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nicolas Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Panasewicz went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Nicolas Britto made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Karol Panasewicz sent off a good shot on target. When Karol Panasewicz came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Blue Mountain State fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Panasewicz couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Robin Sharma made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Humberto Suazo sent off a good shot on target. Karol Panasewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nicolas Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Ranolfo Piedrahita was substituted for Humberto Suazo. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blue Mountain State's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Afşar Uçuk in the 63rd minute. The corner ended in Tevfik Hunalp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Nicolas Britto did a great save. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Nicolas Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 64th minute of play. Robin Sharma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Petrosino, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cody Miles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blue Mountain State made a substitution. Lionel-Andrés Messi replaced Karol Panasewicz. In the 72nd match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Popescu to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Petrosino came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Nicolas Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 75th minute of play. Blue Mountain State were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afşar Uçuk took the corner. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Robin Sharma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ranolfo Piedrahita in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Armando Petrosino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Blue Mountain State got a corner. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afşar Uçuk ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Blue Mountain State's Afşar Uçuk to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolas Britto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Messi came free, but Nicolas Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lionel-Andrés Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Britto was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Robin Sharma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cody Miles in the 93rd minute.
