The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corneliu Dridu in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomil Ziomkowski saved CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Afonso da Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Pere was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Cosme Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Campbell in the 11th minute of play. The throw-in from Dieguinho de Medeiros in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Well-Well Junior. Frédson Lira hit a great ball. A hard and well directed shot from Xande Campbell led 18 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 28th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Cosme Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Ziomkowski having to interfere. Cosme Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Well-Well Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44thth minute of the game Afonso da Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dr Lecter SC's Cosme Pere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 55th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Pere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. Afonso da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Wlodzimierz Swoboda was substituted for David Brás. Cosme Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dr Lecter SC:s goal. Corneliu Dridu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a rather tough play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Liviu Terzian got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 96th minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ played a much better game than Dr Lecter SC and deserved their victory. The Dr Lecter SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
