The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 康雄霆 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game 康雄霆 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that 康雄霆's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Barreto was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Fatih-Sultan Tekke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 110th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Paulo Barreto having to make a save. Pedro Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fatih-Sultan Tekke in the 110th minute of the match. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 126th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Airborne FC booed when XL-Azrail Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 130 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulvahit Erencan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 132 played minutes XL-Azrail Team got a freekick which was hit by Yasen Súlov. Samuel Etoo hit a great freekick 134 minutes into the match.

When the match had been going on for 137 minutes, Airborne FC's Qin Xiang Chuan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nurkan Beycan. In the 138th minute of the game, XL-Azrail Team got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The referee gave XL-Azrail Team a penalty, 142 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kala Mala, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto. 2-3. In the 145th minute, the referee gave XL-Azrail Team a penalty. Fatih-Sultan Tekke looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Pedro Paulo Barreto. Nurkan Beycan had in the 146thth minute some difficulties stopping Ceyhan Peykan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The XL-Azrail Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing XL-Azrail Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
