Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Judas Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesario Irazu in the 11th minute of the match. Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after C. A. Pipon Pipon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pawel Grabowicz took the corner. After taking down the ball on Belgrano de Pibasog's corner Eustaquio Fortun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jannes Ruttens quite easily take care of the ball. Belgrano de Pibasog's Silvio Abadia got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalie prevented a goal. Silvio Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannes Ruttens having to interfere. If Cesario Irazu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Judas Verón got free with Jannes Ruttens in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Beto Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Bülent Korkmaz with Cesario Irazu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Belgrano de Pibasog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pawel Grabowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Frederico kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Raggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Bryson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Judas Verón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jannes Ruttens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Bryson in the 80th minute of play. Bernardo Raggio was a little too slow when Nicky Bryson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-1. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Garcia Morros replaced Silvio Abadia. Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca was substituted for Judas Verón. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Benito Morin was substituted for Al Whatley. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Jerrold in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Beto Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Raggio. Belgrano de Pibasog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Ilinca, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.

C. A. Pipon Pipon played a much better game than Belgrano de Pibasog and deserved their victory. The Belgrano de Pibasog players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
