After some careless play in the LA DEL MONO defense, Frits van Gaal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Betadur. The LA DEL MONO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Betadur should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Frits van Gaal could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Fabio Betadur however easily saved by the left post. Fabio Betadur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frits van Gaal in the 38th minute. After 46 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Guillelmo. After 47 minutes, Eugenio Truylos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA DEL MONO and the S.E. Pindorama Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Eugenio Truylos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ştefan Magheran to strike the kick off in the second half. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
