Gustav Mattheijs was slow to take the kick. During this time Purple Talents's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gustav Mattheijs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leal Simões quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Loukas Laboglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, KINGS FC's Manuel Carneiro got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zoltán Tálas made a kick off. KINGS FC's Jānis Blūms got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Paulo Valadão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 박 서문 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Loukas Laboglou hit a great ball. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when KINGS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Sosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. KINGS FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
