Patricio Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinan Şiraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gwidon Dubilas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Dale Dolar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Luisinho Uribe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gwidon Dubilas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Skaradowski in the 38th minute of play. Michael Meertens charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Meertens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Clóvis Vieira got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luisinho Uribe made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz got control of the ball when Norbert Kolacki tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Norbert Kolacki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lech Max had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
