With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Pasha Datsiuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. AS Pikachuzim's Hristofor Borchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Nyström in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Loco Durazno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hristofor Borchev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3.

Burç Tokhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hristofor Borchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Burç Tokhan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute Burç Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hristofor Borchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Golden Lions FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
