Cornelio Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauna Utd. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Luciano Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Pirro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radamel Hendrickx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Piorno. Racing Club made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Unai Sócrates got free with Cornelio Cordearo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Lucas Eladio hit a great ball.
