Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Celedonio Abecia made the kick off which started today's match. Haroldo Damião recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Ezkerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jefferson Vander's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Jefferson Vander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Melquiades Ezkerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvaldinho Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. José Maria Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldinho Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Abecia in the 24th minute of the match. Melquiades Ezkerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Damião in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Cachipampa got a freekick which was hit by Matias Cordaryal. Cássio Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Ezkerra having to interfere. If Jefferson Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tabocão FC's Osvaldinho Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Tabocão FC from getting a goal against them. Jefferson Vander might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Ezkerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jefferson Vander ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd match minute, Cachipampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Leobardo to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes of play, Tabocão FC's José Maria Abreu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Ezkerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jefferson Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jefferson Vander came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melquiades Ezkerra could save by the left post. In the 53rd match minute, Cachipampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Ezkerra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cássio Maia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. Osvaldinho Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Abecia in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Celedonio Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Abecia in the 64th minute of play. If Haroldo Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, José Maria Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Haroldo Damião fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabocão FC's protests and gave Haroldo Damião a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Tabocão FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Damião. Cachipampa's Melquiades Ezkerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Cachipampa from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Cachipampa's zone, Haroldo Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Ezkerra came out of the goal and Haroldo Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Maria Abreu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Melquiades Ezkerra firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tomás Arósio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Cachipampa's Melquiades Ezkerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Maia in the 85th minute of play. Melquiades Ezkerra was a little too slow when Cássio Maia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-4. Melquiades Ezkerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes of play Cachipampa's Sebastian Birjaio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cachipampa's Sebastian Birjaio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jefferson Vander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Ezkerra. That made the score 1-5 in the 94 minute of play. Tabocão FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
