Paulão Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Marcos Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico Trigueiro charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eurico Trigueiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Eurico Trigueiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Marcos Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Gomes in the 19th minute of play forced Boavista F.C's goalkeeper Ivan Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Ferreira in the 29th minute of play. Ivan Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Leal's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Eurico Trigueiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. A collision led to Boavista F.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eurico Trigueiro hit a great ball. Raí dos Santos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Paulão Prestes was a little too slow when Tiago Leiria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Marcos Leal fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored z-Bull Futebol Clube's protests and gave Marcos Leal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Marcos Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boavista F.C's Jordão Regalado got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Léo Gomes made a kick off. Jordão Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Prestes having to interfere. After 62 played minutes z-Bull Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Raí dos Santos. Ivan Miranda made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Marcos Leal sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Boavista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Gomes came free, but Ivan Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tiago Leiria fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boavista F.C's protests and gave Tiago Leiria a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of z-Bull Futebol Clube booed when Boavista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Leiria didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Boavista F.C's Ivan Miranda got control of the ball when Marcos Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jordão Regalado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boavista F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordão Regalado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 played minutes Boavista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Camargo. When Léo Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the z-Bull Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Gomes couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Leal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Miranda. That made the score 1-1 in the 79 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Naldo Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. z-Bull Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Jordão Regalado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
