The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Albert Offendahl struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. After 20 minutes of play, Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Bo-Erik Wall made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selçuk Kunt was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 played minutes Tunhems Idrottssällskap got a freekick which was hit by Per Olsson. Albert Offendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Selçuk Kunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Jens Wahlnäs made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selçuk Kunt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bo-Erik Wall scored 0-6 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selçuk Kunt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kudret Kınıkaslan struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jimmy Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mut. Jimmy Björklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Özbek Adsoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 36 minute of play. Selçuk Kunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Ahlstedt in the 40th minute of play. Tuna Cemşit kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Kudret Kınıkaslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens Wahlnäs to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Jens Wahlnäs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Jens Wahlnäs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Selçuk Kunt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Jens Wahlnäs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Mut's Selçuk Kunt got control of the ball when Timmy Ahlstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute Özbek Adsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dursun Ali Oğuzbala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Tunhems Idrottssällskap's goal looked a bit too open when Kudret Kınıkaslan came free, but Jimmy Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özbek Adsoy took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Björklund. Jimmy Björklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. After a defensive mix-up in Mut's zone, Albert Offendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Selçuk Kunt came out of the goal and Albert Offendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmy Björklund came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Mut's Dursun Ali Oğuzbala. But to his dismay, Dursun Ali Oğuzbala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-6. In the 88th minute, Dursun Ali Oğuzbala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-6. When the match was over Tunhems Idrottssällskap could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mut throughout the match.
