Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mattias Mellberg started the match with the kick off. Jimmy Björklund came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Åmål IF's Isaac Ekelund. But to his dismay, Isaac Ekelund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kurt Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Jimmy Björklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Tunhems Idrottssällskap from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Mattias Engman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Jimmy Björklund. Jimmy Björklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the game, Åmål IF's Sune Stenkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmy Björklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Jens Wahlnäs put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kurt Ahlbom. Åmål IF's Kurt Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Offendahl in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Åmål IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Biörnberg to maneuver through the defense. Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Timmy Ahlstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Offendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Ahlbom having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristoffer Ånger during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Åmål IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Tunhems Idrottssällskap. Jens Wahlnäs stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kurt Ahlbom. 3-3. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens Wahlnäs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Offendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Ahlbom having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Timmy Ahlstedt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kurt Ahlbom. The goal made the score 3-4. 61 minutes into the game, Sune Stenkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åmål IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tunhems Idrottssällskap the free kick. When Åmål IF's Mattias Mellberg in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tunhems Idrottssällskap's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute, Albert Offendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Tunhems Idrottssällskap's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Engman came free, but Jimmy Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åmål IF's Kurt Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik Wall in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Sakarias Biörnberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åmål IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tunhems Idrottssällskap the free kick. After 74 played minutes Åmål IF got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Biörnberg. Timmy Ahlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Ahlbom having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Albert Offendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunhems Idrottssällskap's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Offendahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Ahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Åmål IF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sune Stenkvist hit a great ball. When Sune Stenkvist was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Mattias Mellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Bo-Erik Wall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunhems Idrottssällskap's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo-Erik Wall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Ahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 96 minutes, Albert Offendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tunhems Idrottssällskap's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Offendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Åmål IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tunhems Idrottssällskap were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
