Kurt Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. COLAPINTO's Arsenio Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Stenkvist in the 13th minute of play. Segundo Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Ahlbom having to interfere. Cecilio Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd match minute, COLAPINTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Fagildo to maneuver through the defense. Cecilio Demario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kurt Ahlbom firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cecilio Demario took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Ahlbom. Kurt Ahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 54 minutes into the game, Marko Hedkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åmål IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COLAPINTO the free kick. In the 54th match minute, Åmål IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Hedkvist to maneuver through the defense. Åmål IF's Kurt Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Demario in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Åmål IF's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Fagildo came free, but Kurt Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Sune Stenkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åmål IF and the COLAPINTO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Åmål IF's Sune Stenkvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Arsenio Benitez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cecilio Demario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Ahlbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Sakarias Biörnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sakarias Biörnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Åmål IF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sakarias Biörnberg hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, COLAPINTO's goalkeeper Arsenio Benitez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Engman. After 75 played minutes COLAPINTO got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Leoiar. With his leg Arsenio Benitez managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Åmål IF's Mattias Engman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th minute Sune Stenkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Åmål IF defense, Cecilio Demario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Ahlbom. The Åmål IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Ahlbom should have stopped the shot. COLAPINTO were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
