Vintilă Bădescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Botello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ilie Brumaru made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Olimpiu Teodorescu put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Basilio Justin. Basilio Justin came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Cosula-BTF-'s Olimpiu Teodorescu. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Teodorescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Joaquin Fonso kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Vintilă Bădescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Justin came out of the goal and Vintilă Bădescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vintilă Bădescu struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Basilio Justin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cosula-BTF-. Olimpiu Teodorescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Justin having to interfere. Aurel Lăceanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Basilio Justin. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 42 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Joanes. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Vintilă Bădescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. 67 minutes into the match, Ciprian Gaiță had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Justin. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciprian Gaiță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ciprian Gaiță looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Manuel Neicu was substituted for Petru Chirea.
