A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Prestes hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiaguinho Faria got free with Toninho Schmidt in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Pedrinho do Valle notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt. Toninho Schmidt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toninho Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Pedrinho do Valle sent off a good shot on target. Toninho Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 45th minute, Pedrinho do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Eduardo Arce was the one to do the kick off. Samuca Bezerra was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Paulo Renato Gonçalves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Renato Gonçalves really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Doriva Carneiro replaced Manfredo de Azevedo. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. If João Carlos Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Perivaldo Pitta was substituted for Tiaguinho Faria. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Luís Eduardo Arce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Carlos Fantini couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Fantini in the 95th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Samuca Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MAZER SAF's Toninho Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Arce in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans cheered their team off the field, for while MAZER SAF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
