In the 7th minute, Pedrinho do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Gurbista was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute, NAGANO F.C's Jairo Villavedon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuca Bezerra. Samuca Bezerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Inocencio Gurbista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Tiaguinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Gurbista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Arce in the 36th minute of play forced NAGANO F.C's goalkeeper Inocencio Gurbista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
