Laureano Panpili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eustaquio Gerazan hit a great ball. Basilio Justin came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by BICHO neuquino's Teodoro Gabino. But to his dismay, Teodoro Gabino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 31 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Ranolfo. Jonatan Felipos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Hector Socorro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half BICHO neuquino were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Panpili to strike the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Eustaquio Gerazan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the BICHO neuquino players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BICHO neuquino booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when BICHO neuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Jonatan Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Felipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the BICHO neuquino defense, Bernardo Ranolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hector Socorro. The BICHO neuquino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hector Socorro should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Felipo in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Socorro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as BICHO neuquino's Teodoro Gabino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Basilio Justin. That made the score 1-2 after 86 minutes of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Laureano Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BICHO neuquino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Felipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. BICHO neuquino's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
