A collision led to FC Koper getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Claudio Brkić hit a great ball. Bine Šercelj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Felipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Luka Saje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Felipo. Timi Osojnik struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Basilio Justin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Koper. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luka Saje didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Jonatan Felipo got a free kick in the 12th minute. FC Koper's Luka Saje got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Znadimir Tancek. In the 22nd minute, Jonatan Felipo made a precise shot to the right of Bine Šercelj. FC Koper's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Bernardo Ranolfo got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Jonatan Felipo came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Felipo couldn't finish the play. Claudio Brkić's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Brkić helped the player get up and apologised. Claudio Brkić hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Ranolfo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Bernardo Ranolfo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Bine Šercelj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Felipo's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Jonatan Felipo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Saje in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Basilio Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Timi Osojnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Justin came out of the goal and Timi Osojnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Znadimir Tancek kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Gaston Joanes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bine Šercelj but with some difficulty. Bine Šercelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Luka Saje sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basilio Justin. Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Saje in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Monico in the 79th minute of play forced FC Koper's goalkeeper Bine Šercelj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Justin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timi Osojnik in the 84th minute of play. Jonatan Felipo came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bine Šercelj could save by the left post. Bine Šercelj made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jonatan Felipo sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play, FC Koper's Luka Saje made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Justin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timi Osojnik struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Basilio Justin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Koper. FC Koper's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
