Bine Šercelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Arce in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Faria. After 24 minutes, Benis Lupša mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Koper and the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benis Lupša hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Luís Eduardo Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Luís Eduardo Arce in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benis Lupša was the one to do the kick off. Claudio Brkić hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. FC Koper's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Luís Eduardo Arce scored to the left of an out of position Bine Šercelj, making the score, 0-2. 66 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goalkeeper Bine Šercelj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho do Valle. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Pedrinho do Valle was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Armandinho Santos was substituted for Felipe Salles. 72 minutes into the game, Robert Jurčić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rondinone F.C - FDFDF the free kick. The audience was convinced that Luís Eduardo Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bine Šercelj was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Eduardo Arce in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bine Šercelj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bine Šercelj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 95 played minutes Luís Eduardo Arce could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-5 into the left cross. The FC Koper fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
