The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, John Antolin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MarineerS MzC and the Herta Budino players grew even worse after the yellow card. John Antolin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 8th minute of play forced MarineerS MzC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes MarineerS MzC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Rydberg. Davide Rinaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunato Sangermano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mecnun Seha in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Davide Rinaldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Leicea was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Davide Rinaldis short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Arnoldo Leicea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Davide Rinaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Leicea having to interfere. Pedro Velasco hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Leicea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Davide Rinaldi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, MarineerS MzC's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Rinaldi came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herta Budino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Liu Ying Qing in the 35th minute. Pedro Velasco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Fortunato Sangermano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Armando Santirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute MarineerS MzC were awarded a corner. Kıvanç Balyemez went to the cornerflag to take it. Kıvanç Balyemez made a great header on MarineerS MzC's corner, it was just that Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Olgierd Glapiak's late challenge caught a Herta Budino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olgierd Glapiak helped the player get up and apologised. Olgierd Glapiak kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. MarineerS MzC's Serafino Modestio was substituted for Dinç Tuncay. Herta Budino's Codrin Tăgorean was substituted for Adam Baldy. In the 66th minute, Olgierd Glapiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MarineerS MzC's Arnoldo Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Velasco in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by MarineerS MzC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Liu Ying Qing was slow to take the kick. During this time Herta Budino's players had a chance to rest. Davide Rinaldi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Leicea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 78th minute of play. Diego Armando Santirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Velasco in the 95th minute of play. Herta Budino's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
