With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kraig Fred in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Tolino saved La Fenix from getting behind. In the 14th minute Octavio Salvator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, La Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Ruisko came free, but Eliseo Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Tolino didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kraig Fred was the one to do the kick off. Kraig Fred might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseo Tolino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kraig Fred ran back to his position shaking his head. Eliseo Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Fred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cornelio Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Patricio Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Fred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Aguirre in the 67th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseo Tolino. That made the score 1-3 after 70 minutes of play. When Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Fenix's goalie prevented a goal. Concetto Trasatti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Eliseo Tolino made a huge save. After a rather tough play, La Fenix's Patricio Hernandez got a free kick in the 79th minute. La Fenix made a substitution. Carmelo Cesario replaced Israel Igon. In the 83rd minute, Clemente Sansone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Beltza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Orlando Beltza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Tolino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Estudiantes de América had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
