In the 13th minute of the match, Camillo Berardini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ennio Lucchetta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. US Fulminea's Edoardo Melone got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Diecicento FC booed when US Fulminea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Flocco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Alexander Tosi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diecicento FC and the US Fulminea players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of US Fulminea booed when Diecicento FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Tosi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, US Fulminea's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Tosi came free, but Bernardo Traini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Alexander Tosi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but US Fulminea's Bernardo Traini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When US Fulminea's Edoardo Melone, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for US Fulminea. After 27 played minutes Diecicento FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Tosi. After 28 minutes of play, US Fulminea's Filippo De Lorenzi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ennio Lucchetta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diecicento FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Andrea Fantini scored to the left of an out of position Ennio Lucchetta, making the score, 2-0. Enzo Toppi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in US Fulminea fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Alexander Tosi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Andrea Flocco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Diecicento FC's Corrado Ritacco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Traini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Tosi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ennio Lucchetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Melone in the 50th minute of the match. When Edoardo Melone came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the US Fulminea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Melone couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Cesare Pezzella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diecicento FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Ennio Lucchetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Fantini in the 64th minute of play. Camillo Berardini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Camillo Berardini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ennio Lucchetta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Bernardo Traini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Tosi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, US Fulminea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Tosi scored 3-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Traini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, US Fulminea's Camillo Berardini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ennio Lucchetta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Diecicento FC's Anthony Montini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Traini. That made the score 3-5 after 87 minutes of play. Andrea Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes US Fulminea got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Fantini. Bernardo Traini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corrado Ritacco in the 95th minute.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Diecicento FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
