In the 7th minute Ennio Di Marzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezary Tusk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Eugenio Santoro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Carhue's Eugenio Santoro threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Petre Zărnescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Urbs LC from getting a goal against them. Angel Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro got control of the ball when Xu Wei tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Urbs LC's goal looked a bit too open when Brent-Jan Kindermans came free, but Eugenio Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xu Wei in the 29th minute. Angel Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Di Marzio in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio Di Marzio in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Xacintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Chago in the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brent-Jan Kindermans made a kick off. Moreno Torricelli kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Carhue's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ihazintu came free, but Angel Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ennio Di Marzio got free with Angel Xacintu in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pastor Ihazintu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angel Xacintu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Carhue's Justo Egoitz was substituted for Brent-Jan Kindermans. Urbs LC's Boško Balaban was substituted for Ennio Di Marzio. In the 69th minute of the match Carhue got a corner. Urbs LC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Carhue's corner Leon Kaxen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eugenio Santoro quite easily take care of the ball. Eugenio Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xu Wei in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Justo Egoitz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro. Eugenio Santoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eugenio Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Chago in the 79th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 89th minute, but Angel Xacintu got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Carhue hanging dry this time. Angel Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boško Balaban in the 92nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Pastor Ihazintu sped through Carhue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angel Xacintu.
