Luisito Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Cantero, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Luisito Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Lamczyk in the 15th minute of play. Blas Aritza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Felipe Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Saturnin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from David Abaurre in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lyons's Severo Basualdo. Luisito Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Cantero in the 26th minute of the match. La Acade's Felipe Saturnin got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Boleslaw Zielinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matei Daimacă hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Cantero in the 38th minute of play forced Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lyons's Austin Muller quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Venancio Iglesias, made in the 40th minute of the game. The wind increased when Boleslaw Zielinski made the kick off in the second half. Stelian Avram fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Quinten having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Zielinski came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyons's Stig Åkerberg was substituted for Aurelio Vasco. David Abaurre made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonard Lamczyk however managed to control. The supporters of La Acade booed when Lyons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Du Xi Zhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Acade's Kip William was substituted for Felipe Saturnin. In the 73rd match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Du Xi Zhi to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kip William sped through Lyons's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Quinten. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Cantero in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Quinten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Acade's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teófilo Amaro in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Muller came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Cantero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Luisito Quinten skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over La Acade could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lyons throughout the match.
