Liu Yuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kleopas Plouffe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liu Yuan ran back to his position shaking his head. Kleopas Plouffe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Cecilio Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Romildo in the 12th minute of the match. Cecilio Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Romildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Hüseyin Rahmi Tanpınar scored to the left of an out of position Kleopas Plouffe, making the score, 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Defensores de Mar de Ajó players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Athletic Bostero.
