Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Henrico in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Isidro Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Eguen in the 91st minute of play forced Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Vicky Donda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nouvelle Vague eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
