The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Leonides Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Machado in the 6th minute of play. Stanislaw Lichucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Machado in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes Cambaratiba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonides Cresconio who took care of the corner kick. Leonides Cresconio made a great header on C.A Huracan's corner, it was just that Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki managed to reach the ball for a save. Stanislaw Lichucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Machado in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Paraíba in the 25th minute of play forced C.A Huracan's goalkeeper Delmiro Dominic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Helgerud struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Stanislaw Lichucki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A Huracan. 28 minutes into the match, Cambaratiba's goalkeeper Stanislaw Lichucki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Machado. Stanislaw Lichucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Machado in the 39th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Cambaratiba got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Madruga. In the 47th match minute, C.A Huracan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Sagan to maneuver through the defense. Delmiro Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Paraíba in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wellington Paraíba made a kick off. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Machado in the 59th minute of play. C.A Huracan's Dave Basso was substituted for Timoteo Machado. Dave Basso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanislaw Lichucki having to make a save. Cambaratiba's Stanislaw Lichucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Basso in the 77th minute of play. C.A Huracan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Helgerud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marin Giubelean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Delmiro Dominic made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the C.A Huracan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
