Spectators: 424 (Terracing: 319, Seating: 97, VIP seats: 8) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgílio Pitta started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Barca Lech defense, Virgílio Pitta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boleslaw Oleszak. The Barca Lech fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boleslaw Oleszak should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Barca Lech getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ziemowit Prosowski hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Virgílio Pitta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Boleslaw Oleszak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arkadiusz Wierzcholek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gerson Bittencourt made a huge save. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barca Lech! The referee gave Correntezas EC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silas Castro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barca Lech's Boleslaw Oleszak. 0-4. A collision led to Barca Lech getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fabian Jaworski hit a great ball. Boleslaw Oleszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgílio Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Dino de Senna with Felipe Mota as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Barca Lech's Fabian Jaworski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silas Tavares, made in the 45th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Bernard Kapelski made the kick off in the second half. Boleslaw Oleszak made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Baltazar Arósio sent off a good shot on target. In the 52nd minute, Correntezas EC's Virgílio Pitta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. 57 minutes into the match, Barca Lech's Bernard Kapelski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerson Bittencourt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diego Madureira struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Boleslaw Oleszak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Correntezas EC. Boleslaw Oleszak was a little too slow when Diego Madureira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-7. Boleslaw Oleszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute of the match, Felipe Mota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boleslaw Oleszak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio da Cunha got free with Boleslaw Oleszak in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Correntezas EC's Gerson Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Kapelski in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Correntezas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Massa to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Kapelski in the 94th minute of play.

The Correntezas EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Correntezas EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
