After 4 minutes of play, Martirio AD's Bruninho da Mata made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thodoris Liolidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thodoris Liolidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Bertassi in the 7th minute of play. Flávio da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flávio da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Babbis Tsalouchidis kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Martirio AD's Ian Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Schiau in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the Α.Ο. Σύρου FC defense, Leonardo Bertassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thodoris Liolidis. The Α.Ο. Σύρου FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thodoris Liolidis should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thodoris Liolidis having to interfere. Martirio AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Gigel Schiau scored to the left of an out of position Ian Maranhense, making the score, 1-2. In the 32nd minute Gigel Schiau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thodoris Liolidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Bertassi in the 33rd minute of play. Gigel Schiau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ian Maranhense made a huge save. Manos Valkanis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The Α.Ο. Σύρου FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Martirio AD were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermis Vasilomichelakis was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Martirio AD's Elói Toscano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thodoris Liolidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thodoris Liolidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Thodoris Liolidis got control of the ball when Leonardo Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elói Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Thodoris Liolidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thodoris Liolidis stood somewhat misplaced when Bruninho da Mata came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 81 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Bertassi got free with Thodoris Liolidis in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the game, Α.Ο. Σύρου FC's Manos Valkanis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ian Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Martirio AD's Francisco Freitas was substituted for Matías Fernandes.

The Α.Ο. Σύρου FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Martirio AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Martirio AD.
