With a left leg Antón Frešo saved FC Turany from getting behind. When Estevão Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the SC Farense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estevão Macedo couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Salvador Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antón Frešo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Korach during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Korach kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomáš Hejnus was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Tomáš Hejnus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Farense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomáš Hejnus was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Turany's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SC Farense's goalie and right to Ivan Cibuľa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SC Farense's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. SC Farense made a substitution. Marcos Ponte replaced Almiro Bacelar. Guido Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Hejnus in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Grigoris Bikakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antón Frešo, 0-4. After 66 played minutes FC Turany got a freekick which was hit by Peter Hargaš. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcísio Marinho in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antón Frešo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Korn in the 86th minute of play forced SC Farense's goalkeeper Guido Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Korach got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 87 played minutes FC Turany got a freekick which was hit by Martin Korach. 90 minutes into the match, FC Turany's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcísio Marinho came free, but Antón Frešo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antón Frešo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarcísio Marinho in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcísio Marinho in the 96th minute of play forced FC Turany's goalkeeper Antón Frešo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the final whistle sounded SC Farense left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Turany.
