Niculae Ivasiuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 方皓洲 having to interfere. In the 5th minute, KV Mechelen's 莫霆真 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mihai Dobrica. Mihai Dobrica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Marin Chifu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Dafiru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marin Chifu couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, KV Mechelen's 莫霆真 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫霆真 in the 13th minute of play forced Dafiru's goalkeeper Mihai Dobrica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 莫霆真 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mihai Dobrica came out and tried to block the shot, but 莫霆真 slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 16th minute. Mihai Dobrica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 莫霆真 in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, 莫霆真 notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Dafiru's Mihai Dobrica. Mihai Dobrica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Dafiru booed when KV Mechelen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. 莫勇光 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 莫霆真 took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihai Dobrica. Mihai Dobrica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when 柯云城 got free with Mihai Dobrica in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, 莫霆真 managed to get in a good position for a shot. KV Mechelen's supporters rose to their feet, but 莫霆真 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Dobrica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Téo Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 莫霆真 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Dobrica having to interfere. 楚邦建 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Dobrica having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, 莫霆真 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mihai Dobrica. 莫霆真 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Mihai Dobrica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 莫霆真, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 柯云城 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mihai Dobrica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihai Dobrica was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and 莫霆真 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 莫霆真 really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 莫霆真 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, 尹川翀 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doru Bota charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Bota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Doru Bota hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 柯云城 struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mihai Dobrica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Mechelen. If Niculae Ivasiuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 宋延威 might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihai Dobrica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 宋延威 ran back to his position shaking his head. Dafiru's Mihai Dobrica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 尹川翀 in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 莫霆真 in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Dobrica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 莫霆真 struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. KV Mechelen's supporters crossed their fingers, but 莫霆真 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihai Dobrica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 柯云城, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫霆真 in the 87th minute of play forced Dafiru's goalkeeper Mihai Dobrica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Dobrica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 尹川翀, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Mugur Gabrea hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Mihai Dobrica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 莫霆真, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Felix Calota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KV Mechelen's 郭义辉 got a free kick in the 96th minute.
When the referee ended the match the KV Mechelen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
