Perdizrodrigues's Váldson Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Leocadio in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Leocadio in the 10th minute of play forced Perdizrodrigues's goalkeeper Váldson Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Palmitas CF's goalkeeper Rigoberto Ordono had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rômulo Gonçalves. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 程岚松 in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Ordono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Palmitas CF's Rigoberto Ordono got control of the ball when Rômulo Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. When 程岚松 came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Perdizrodrigues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 程岚松 couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Abelardo Grabiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Leocadio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Palmitas CF's Abelardo Grabiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Váldson Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Vides got in the 55th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Rigoberto Ordono handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 58th minute, 程岚松 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perdizrodrigues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 63 minutes, Rômulo Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perdizrodrigues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rômulo Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Palmitas CF's Abelardo Grabiel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 69th minute Abelardo Grabiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Gonçalves in the 71st minute of play forced Palmitas CF's goalkeeper Rigoberto Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Perdizrodrigues's goalkeeper Váldson Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Bertol. Vladimiro Bertol kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 75thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Perdizrodrigues's keeper Váldson Loyola was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a defensive mix-up in Perdizrodrigues's zone, Vicente Leocadio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Loyola came out of the goal and Vicente Leocadio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Abelardo Grabiel came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Palmitas CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Grabiel couldn't finish the play. Rômulo Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Ordono having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Leonel Mattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas CF and the Perdizrodrigues players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Palmitas CF getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Leonel Mattin hit a great ball.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Perdizrodrigues's Rômulo Gonçalves that got to make the kick off. Rigoberto Ordono made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Rômulo Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. Perdizrodrigues's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
