Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olimpiu Andrițoiu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Salvador Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Bernat scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Ongile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Vikings's Oscar Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Salvador Bernat came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Deportivo Madera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Bernat couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Olimpiu Andrițoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Salvador Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Deportivo Madera's Rômulo Damião made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsenio Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Marin was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Madera's Salvador Bernat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arsenio Ongile. That made the score 0-4 after 53 minutes of play. In the 57th minute, the referee gave Deportivo Madera a penalty. Constantino Lucado looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Arsenio Ongile. Cleto Iturri kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Vikings's Arsenio Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Quintyn in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Deportivo Madera's Teofilo Quintyn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arsenio Ongile. Arsenio Ongile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Olimpiu Andrițoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Marin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Madera's Godfredo Ederono got a free kick in the 74th minute. Olimpiu Andrițoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Marin in the 78th minute of play. Reynardo Cerrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Angel Polentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Polentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vikings getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Angel Polentzi hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Quintyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arsenio Ongile was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vikings's Edelmiro Macias got a free kick in the 91st minute. Arsenio Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Quintyn in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Madera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vikings.
