Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Mendonça in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevan Grange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Mendonça scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevan Grange, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Mendonça in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevan Grange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Penha to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Alberto Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevan Grange. Les diables noirs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Kevan Grange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo da Rocha in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Horácio Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevan Grange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo da Rocha in the 37th minute of play forced Les diables noirs's goalkeeper Kevan Grange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevan Grange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Les diables noirs's Gustave Pierrel got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustave Pierrel to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. Rodrigo Penha helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Les diables noirs booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. SORRISO E. C. made a substitution. Miguel da Rocha replaced Alfredo da Rocha. In the 63rd minute, Rodrigo Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Horácio Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevan Grange was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 72nd play minutes Alberto Mendonça shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Kevan Grange and just under the crossbar into goal. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Pereira got free with Kevan Grange in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's goalkeeper Kevan Grange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Pereira.
