Christian Arratia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kevan Grange. 0-2. 10 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilfried Lépinay came free, but Cugat Cardet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Moïse Ganivet made a precise shot to the right of Cugat Cardet. Vanadio F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Christian Arratia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevan Grange was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Lemos in the 20th minute of play. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Arratia's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Vanadio F.C.'s Cugat Cardet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Yves Paturel in the 29th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Les diables noirs got a freekick which was hit by Joey Weill. Christian Arratia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevan Grange having to make a save. Les diables noirs were furious when Fabien Dol was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Les diables noirs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vanadio F.C.:s goal. Christian Arratia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute Christian Arratia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevan Grange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christian Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kevan Grange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Arratia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Arratia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kevan Grange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Perpinya Tirado fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vanadio F.C.'s protests and gave Perpinya Tirado a yellow card for diving instead. Perpinya Tirado hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Arratia's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Yves Paturel came free, but Cugat Cardet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Mirande Barrutia replaced Kelemen Revilla. Les diables noirs were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Vanadio F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfried Lépinay took the corner. The corner led Les diables noirs's Gustave Pierrel to fire away a dangerous shot which Cugat Cardet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Christian Arratia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanadio F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les diables noirs the free kick. Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Arratia in the 96th minute of play.
