The referee ignored AC Banbury 1977's protests and gave Danish Politiek a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Banbury 1977 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Albert Dyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Osikowicz in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

AC Banbury 1977 made a substitution. Asiz Hong replaced Azli Peng. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pankracy Osikowicz to make the kick off. Tomasz Majusiak scored 5-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Dyce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albert Dyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Dombroski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Dombroski in the 78th minute of play forced AC Banbury 1977's goalkeeper Albert Dyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Pankracy Osikowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Dyce. AC Banbury 1977's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pankracy Osikowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Albert Dyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Osikowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
