Paolo Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian de Alcântara having to interfere. Efrain Barea hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alfredo Silva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fémur de Oro.'s Paolo Guerau got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fémur de Oro.'s Gaston Firmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Fémur de Oro. from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Germano Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Firmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Fémur de Oro. got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Arano. After 24 minutes of play Fémur de Oro.'s Efrain Barea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA booed when Fémur de Oro. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Barea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Urdaspal charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Urdaspal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucio Urdaspal kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

54 minutes into the game, Giovanni Furtado threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fémur de Oro.'s Paolo Guerau quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
