The referee showed Reynaldo Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 minutes, Uglješa Trailović made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Duarte in the 19th minute of play forced FK Partizan Beograd's goalkeeper Ljubinko Komatina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Cristian Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willian Loyola was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Mitar Momić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mitar Momić really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 42 minutes into the game, Uglješa Trailović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Willian Loyola. Uglješa Trailović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 46th minute, Višeslav Putinčanin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willian Loyola was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mitar Momić stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Morro Grande E.C's Willian Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uglješa Trailović in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to FK Partizan Beograd getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Trifun Mladenović hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitar Momić in the 57th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Willian Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Raúl Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willian Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uglješa Trailović, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the game, FK Partizan Beograd's Mitar Momić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willian Loyola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 76 minutes into the game, Trifun Mladenović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Partizan Beograd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morro Grande E.C the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in FK Partizan Beograd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Ljubinko Komatina, was totally fooled by Morro Grande E.C's Reynaldo Tepedino, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Ernani Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morro Grande E.C's protests and gave Ernani Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Ernani Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Clóvis Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morro Grande E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Partizan Beograd the free kick. In the 89th match minute, FK Partizan Beograd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uglješa Trailović to maneuver through the defense. FK Partizan Beograd's Ljubinko Komatina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FK Partizan Beograd from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Diogo Pinho got a free kick in the 96th minute. When Živadin Gvozdenović came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the FK Partizan Beograd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Živadin Gvozdenović couldn't finish the play. FK Partizan Beograd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Morro Grande E.C for a fine match.
