When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Cârlan was the one to do the kick off. Mario Cuenca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Şerbănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Mario Cuenca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Cârlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Cârlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mario Cuenca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Cârlan in the 60th minute of play forced BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's goalkeeper Mario Cuenca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's Mario Cuenca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 72nd minute of play. After 72 played minutes BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Buinton. Sebastian Istodor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mario Cuenca. BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Damian Cârlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Cuenca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Cârlan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, Calistrat Şerbănescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Cuenca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Cârlan's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Damian Cârlan hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Sorin Nicorici's late challenge caught a BeBeDoReS EnTrEnaDoS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca had played much better football throughout.
